La Superior- Taco Tuesdays EVERY night of the week!
Finding good and affordable Mexican food in New York has been somewhat of a challenge. As a Californian, I have deeply missed cheap and tasty tacos. Finding a place like Pinches Tacos has been quite a challenge. I was lead to La Superior in Williamsburg and it exceeded far beyond my expectations! The first good sign was the chips. While they were not free, they were still hot and crispy. The guacamole had lots of flavor and was not bland or underspiced at all. All the tacos were $2.50 and while they were small, two tacos were more than enough. I tried the tinga de pollo (chicken with chipotle sauce)and the carnitas. Both tacos were bursting with flavor. The carne asada taco and the pescado zaraneado were quite a hit. Along with a hip and relaxed atmosphere at an unbelievably reasonable price, La Superior is BYOB and several people were enjoying beverages they brought in brown bags. No wonder it has an enormous hipster following!
