Restaurant Profile: Square One Dining LA
Square One Dining is a little restaurant in an odd section of Hollywood that you might pass right by and never know of it's epicurean delights. Except if you drove by on Saturday or Sunday mornings when a line forms out the door. And trust me it is worth the trek to East Hollywood and waiting in line to taste the food.
The breakfast and lunch specialties will surely have you talking. The ingredients are fresh, the food creative and delicious and the ambiance is quaint and friendly. The prices aren't bad either! They utilize organic, local, and small farm produce when possible AND all of our meat products are hormone free. All great reasons to support this restaurant!
Tip: If you hate waiting for a table try to go a bit later in the day- don't worry breakfast is served all day.
Tip: And get a table on the back patio- it's super cute!

For the chic business man a nice tie or belt are always great options. If you want to be more extravagant try a classic watch or new golf club. Go to a department store like Bloomingdales or Nordstroms for a one stop shop.
For the sophisticated guy appeal to his luxurious sense. Crocodile and shearling slippers, a nice bottle of wine or a wine aerator. Great places to shop are Cole Haan, The Art of Shaving, a Wine Store or a book store.

Crazy for CREMA
After an evening of dining at Crema, your taste buds will be thoroughly aroused and your flavor for Mexican food truly refined. This romantic and unassuming restaurant is tucked away in the heart of Chelsea. With dim lighting and intimate tables, Crema is great for two or larger parties. If you arrive before 7 PM there is a 2 for 1 happy hour special and complimentary chips are served. This is strongly recommended for all you Recessionistas out there. The menu is somewhat pricey, so it is best to go after payday. Chef and owner Julieta Ballesteros has managed to present Mexican cuisine with a modern spin while maintaining old world flavors.
Recommended appetizers:
Quesos Flamidos- grueyere and mushrooms
Alambres de Filete a los Cinco Chiles- filet mignon skewers with vegetables
The last course blew us away with chef Julieta's sweet recommendations:

Look of the Week: Victoria Beckham
Victoria Beckham takes her sons to the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills for dinner this past week. She wore this great colorful mini-dress with very interesting pleats. She paired her dress with navy platform heels and minimal jewelry. We think she looks great!

Style Profile: Zooey Deschanel
Zooey Deschanel is the Culturistas ultimate girl crush. She is gorgeous, quirky, bubbly and has great style! She is also quite the Renaissance woman-- a successful actress, a musician with a band: "She and Him" and even a designer, designing a line of glasses for Oliver Peoples.
She has a great vintage asthetic, often rocking the bow motif on her clothing and pretty one of a kind pieces. Dress like Zooey by pairing dark opaque hose with matching shoes and a flirty/feminine dress.

Rodarte and Zac Posen for Target
Two exciting Target collections are in the works! Rodarte's collection will be launching in less than a month! (Dec 20th) and now we hear Zac Posen is creating a line for target as well!! Let's hope both these collections are executed well. Posen's collection will be launching April 25th 2010 and will have pieces that fall anywhere from $14.99 to $149.99.
The Mulleavy sisters of Rodarte say they drew inspiration for this collection from, "Bonnie and Clyde" "Rosemary's Baby" and "Harold and Maude." Here are some photos of the collection below:

Look of the Week: Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman looked gorgeous and colorful at the Cinema Society, Details and DKNY screening of her new film, Brothers at the SVA Theater on November 22 in NYC. She wore a flattering Jason Wu dress with Christian Louboutin bag and Aldo heels. Love the color combos here, so fun! Her film, also starring Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal comes out December 4th in the US.
